feeling blue

blue

I finished the blue dress, it is not my favorite. This winter has been too kind to me.  I started lighter than I finished, which means the measurements that have always been mine (after the children) are not what they once were. Now I will have to whine my way through weight loss. Perhaps by the time the summer hits, I won’t hate the dress on me. It would make me sad to have to turn another of my dresses into something for the 9-year-old.

On a happier note, I started to crochet a cardigan! It’s something I’ve always wanted to try. Do you know how long those things take? At close to half-way,  it feels like an eternity.   What do you think of the colors together? They are far different from what normally would have been chosen.  I am not even sure I can wear it with the rest of my wardrobe which takes its color scheme from a bruise.  Maybe it’s a new direction.
